I just got married and my husband is an US citizen. We filed all the forms needed for change of my status and received the receipts for them. I also have my biometrics appointment scheduled next month. I am just wondering if I can start working now, or I need to wait for the work permit to arrive. I have a valid SSN since I was on a H2B visa before.
Will I get into a trouble if I start working? I talked to different people and hear so many different opinions.
