I am in US and I have H2B visa until 10/20/07. I want to change my status to B-2. What kind of documents I need? When I should apply? What I should do?

I think you can change the status in the USA to B-2 from H-2B. You must for sure fill out the tourism application form and maybe another form too for the change of status. You must make sure though that you are legal in the USA the whole time. IE, don't file for the B-2 tourism visa AFTER your H-2B visa has expired. So, I recommend you start early. If you have any specific questions, many immigration lawyers will give you a free advice!
