We live in Las Vegas, NV and my husband has to go urgently to Mexicali, Mexico this Tuesday, he lost his Green Card and will take the replacement receipt with him, his GC won't expire anytime soon (he just renewed it but lost it), can he show the receipt when he comes back? What kind of delays is he looking at? He doesn't have a current Mexican passport to get stamped, but he does have an expired one, he doesn't have the time to take it to USCIS. He really has to go this Tuesday 26th of August.
