Hello all,

I'm an American national living in France and at the moment I'm trying to help a high school student spend 10-12 weeks in an American high school. He would be as a visiting student-not really enrolled in a school.

If he only stays for three months max. is a regular tourist visa enough? (The student visas are complicated to obtain, especially since we aren't in Paris.)

Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation?
