Hello, I writing to anybody who can give me help or tips on this situation.
I moved here from Japan when I was about six or five and has lived here all my life. It recently came to my attention however that I am not a citizen, which became a very big setback for me. I want to know my options end of high school is coming fast and I want to know what I can do about it so that I can have the option like every other kid to have a job, go to college travel, etc. any information helping me with this situation would be great.

You need to find out about your immigration status! Did your parents sort out the immigration papers for you and made you a resident when you arrived? Or are you illegally in the country? What's important for you is that you find out your immigration status. Talk to your parents, talk to a lawyer! It is well worth the money. What a surprise to find out though so many years later.... I hope it works out for you!
