> Stateless Person - Can Be Deported, Stateless Person from former USSR - will face deportation
I was seeking asylum in US, lost immigration court, lost appeal in Virginia and last - lost Federal Appeal. There is no appeals, case ended.

Second part of my story, I came from USSR. By court decision, I should leave either to Russia or Latvia. But now I do not have citizenship with neither of mentioned countries.

Right now immigration seems forgot about me, real deportation process did not begin.

Thinking forward, what happens when deportation process begins? OK, they can put me in a prison, but what then? I do not have passport (besides old USSR's - nobody needs it).

How these or similar stories go? Probably not too many cases of stateless people get deported?
