I am in the USA as a permanent resident. Last 2 years my passport has had to be stamped by the INS so I could continue working. I applied for to remove conditional residence 3 months before my card expired, I sent the $145 and INS sent me a receipt. Shortly afterwards, my late husband and I moved to Florida as he retired, and in Ohio he was always getting pneumonia. I advised INS of my change of address as requested. However I never did get my new card and still haven't got it. My card expired August 2003, So every year that I don't get my new Green Card I have to go to INS and have them stamp my passport to allow me to continue working. In Florida, I wrote to an address in Texas, I put a sign and return card on it so I'd know they would have received it, and they did, As I got it back signed.
STILL I HAVEN'T HEARD A THING???????????????????????
Now I need to have my passport renewed also, how do I go about that in the USA and I have a British Passport??
