I would like to know how long does an Administrative Process take for a clearance? My husband had an Interview on September 19, 2007 in Pakistan and he was told that it will only take a minimum of 6 weeks. It has been 6 weeks already and we still didn't hear from the consulate. I have been calling the Department of State and still get the same answer that the case is pending! I have filed the I-130 and the National Visa Center has processed it. It has been 17 months since the case has been going on. So anybody with some answers and solutions or how to speed up the process please help? so please help. If you need any more info, you can ask.

The I-130 could take more than 2 or 3 years depend on the state you filed it make sure to keep calling and check your case online as well if you have not heard from them write and keep a copy of the information you send them even the days you called need to be keep handy USCIS are not easy liars
