My friend has overstayed his F1 visa. He has a girlfriend and wants to get married. The girl is a US citizen. Is this possible? I told him no but he told me that he could get legalized and then get a green card. He is in a delemma cos he really loves this woman and she does not want to go back with him.

If the girl (us citizen) does not want to be with the non-us citizen, then there is not really much to do is it?
