I am Canadian and my fiancé is American. We had plans to move to the USA after the house we were building was built. My fiancé became sick in Feb 10', and since then the house has been on hold. We now want to simply move to the USA.

1. ? - Does my fiancé, who is American need to have a certain amount of funds in the bank to sponsor me?
2. ? - If we were to simply get married, perhaps on a trip; would it be harder to get me, who is Canadian to the USA?
3. ? - What requirements are needed for me, who is Canadian to come to the USA?
4. ? - Since my fiancé is recovering from an illness, is there anyway for myself (Canadian) to work immediately after moving to the USA, instead of waiting 4-6 months, possibly 1 year?
