I have a quick question: Got a green card thru marriage to the US citizen in April, 2003. I am now trying to apply for US citizenship. However, having a green cards with conditions I left for overseas in August, 2005 and spent 2 years overseas (had re-entry permit), and returned back to states in June 2007. Conditions were lifted in August, 2007. Green card was given for 10 years.

Question: When can I apply to become a US citizenship?
What if I apply too early, will they turn me around, send my application back?
How much time does one spend in US before applying to become US citizen? Please clarify?!
