Hi folks,

I have a question regarding my OPT extension. My 12 month OPT period ends on Feb. 14th 2010. I am eligible for OPT extension as I did my masters in electrical & computer engineering (STEM).


I am working for 2 companies say A & B. Both the companies are e-verified.


A - 40 hours
B- part-time

Company A doesn't allow me to apply for OPT extension. So I decided to apply my OPT extension through company B.

So these are my questions regarding the issue.

1. Can I work in both the companies from the day my OPT extension starts.
2. Can I apply my H1 through company B by working in company A (till September), as my H1 will start from October if I apply in April.
3. What if the company A is not e -verified.

Can anyone please guide me regarding this issue.
