Hello, Good Morning, My name is Melody, I was wondering if someone can help me out by giving me some information as to how I would go about bringing my boyfriend and my roommate's girlfriend over here to the United States. My boyfriend and my roommate's girlfriend live in South Africa, I would like to find out how I can bring him over here to live as a permanent resident of the United states, this is something that they want as well. We don’t have much in the ways of money. I have heard or read about a Fiancée Visa, I don’t have the money for that right now and I was wondering if there are any other alternatives for doing this.

Melody - if you want to go to the USA, you should really be aware of the different requirements for each visa. It is not possible to just move to the USA and settle down. You can have your friends visit on a B-2 tourism visa, but this cost money to obtain. There are also many different things that is required (job, financial stability, place to stay, etc) in advance before a visa is issued.

To get married, K-1 visa, requires an extensive amount of planning and money, so I would not recommend that + that you should really want to be married also.
