Hi I am just starting a new job and getting ready to bring my future husband over from Jamaica...
The reason I am starting a new job is my job of 9 years relocated 1000 miles from home.
Since my job is so new will this matter...and what are the income guidelines to bring him here? My other question is how can I speed this process up, I have a daughter by this man and need him here as soon as possible. Does it help that I have his child here now..

I assume you are in the U.S. now on a type of work visa? Most work visas allow you to bring in your spouse, e.g. H-1B is for the worker while H-4B is for the spouse. It is just an application process. I would have contacted an immigration lawyer to help you. Good luck!
