Hi! I'm confused! I have H1-B which is coming up for second extension. Wife and kids on H4. Our I485 application is receipted and pending. Out attorney advised only renew H1-B, not H4, as travel can be on I131. Wife has now received work permit (successful I765). However, now attorney advises renew H4s as well as H1-B. Our confusion: if my wife gets a job then the H4 becomes invalid, so we do not see the point of paying to renew H4? Any insight greatly appreciated!
