I am sending this letter to see if I can locate a INS (homeland security) office in my area. The reason I'm asking had to renew my wife personal ID card since she doesn't have a valid drivers and was informed the she need to update her permanent resident alien card since it did not have an expiration. I was not aware that they expired or needed to be updated until now. So I would like to get this accomplished as soon as possible but I don't know where I need to go to take care of the situation. Currently residing in Hinesville Ga. This location is near Savannah Georgia. I am hoping there is a location in or near this area I can get this card renewed. Not exactly sure of how much this will cost me to do this but if u can give me a name, email address or phone number to call or contact I would surely be grateful for the help. Any help u can give me can be sent to my email address that was used to register.

I am not sure if you can renew your wife's green card. She may have to do that herself. But, why doesn't she just sort out a valid driver's license and then submit the application for a renewal card then? You may be able to do this online also and not having to go anywhere. I think the application fee is $ 370, but as far as I know, there is requirement to change green cards with expiration dates yet. But, it is recommended, so your wife should do it. Uni
