I Have Came here on visitor visa. I have filed for green card on labor substitution. I got EAD card approval on 31st Oct 2007. I have given fingerprints for green card on 8 Dec 07. I have not received green card yet. Now my employer harshing me like any thing. I am tired of him. I want to change my job can I do? he is threatening me that he is going to cancel my EAD so my point is can he can cancel that? is there any time limit after that he cannot cancel? he has paid me salary also and it reflect in payroll also. I am worried because I have not received green card. advise me!

Hi I don't have an answer for you but rather a question. You came here on a visitors visa? How did you go about getting a green card? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have come on visitor visa than I search for working permit, (previsiouly 4 to 5 yrs back I have send one application from India to this employer but that time no response!) I have found this employer who had approved labor. he need employee that match with my experience he take my interview and than ready to give me job. he filed my case on labor substitution. Than I got EAD and SSN. my I485 is still pending. my I140 is also pending. I485 is pending more than 180 days. I am still working with this employer but not happy. so if you have any answer than pls. reply me.
