> I Was Fooled, Not Mad, Need Help
I'm near Chicago land and I was married in March 2007 to a Mongolian National girl. When we first met we were deep in love and got married. Shortly after our marriage, 3 months, she took a job in the Milwaukee area and started to work as a 24 hour caregiver; 2hours and 30minutes away. In early September we went to her Green Card interview. After her interview she stop coming home to visit me. Even on four day weekends for her she never came home. She continued to pressure me and I started paperwork for her son to come to the USA. She left for Mongolia the day after Thanksgiving 2007. A week later her cellular phone bill came in the mail. I noticed that she was over communicating with her man I never knew. After that I found out she was living with him, her ex-boyfriend, in the Milwaukee area also. I found her car parked in front of his apartment. After confronting her she started to state that she was never in love with me. Her only purpose was to bring her son to the USA. I believe I've been wrongfully used for her to obtain a Green Card and bring her son to the USA, only next to divorce me after she gotten everything she needed from me. She is currently in Mongolia as of January 2007. I was to send her son's paperwork to USCIS in Nebraska the Monday after I found out her deception practice. I believe strongly that her ex-boyfriend and her planned this out methodically and just needed the final work from me before they were going to finalize the lie; her leaving me or divorcing me. I've confronted my wife and she has played it off as something I should not worry about. She is right now is in Mongolia and awaiting the secondary processes of the paperwork for her son to come to the USA. She doesn't know I did not send it in. I have documented every possible phone conversation since I found out the deception. I've started to document our events since we've first met. I have I-Pass records since she left for Milwaukee and cellular records from the month before she left for Mongolia. I even have talked to one of her friends and she was shocked to find out that we were even married. I need to help. I need support. I need to know what's my next step's. I entered into a loving and faithful marriage. I did everything I could as a new loving husband to support my wife and build a bright and beautiful future for me, my wife, and her son. She did everything possible to hide a life and plan outside of our marriage, and tricked me into helping her gain her conditional Green Card. I was less than 24hours away from filing paperwork for her son to emigrate to the USA. She says now she is not in love with me and has stated she wants to no longer continue to have a life with me. We haven't been married for more than 9 and half months. She worked fast on my kindness. What I'm trying to say is I've been used and conned. Please, someone help me. I need my life to be true again. She is not planning to return to the USA until after the Asian New Year which I believe is in mid-February.

I'm sorry this has happened. It's sounds like she really took advantage of you. It sounds like she has a CR-1 visa, which will require a change of status 90 days (I believe that's the time) prior to your second anniversary. I'm not sure of the stipulations, but I believe if she scammed you the way she did, her conditions will not be removed and she will not be able to stay in the country legally. My advice to you is to contact USCIS and tell them what she has done, and definitely document everything. I hope things work out for you and best wishes.
