I wanted to know as to what are my options if my child is born in US with respect to immigration. Can the parents apply for immigration as the child (two years of age) requires physical/financial support in US. If you need any further information for answering the query please let me know.

I think the child has to be 18 before you can immigrate as an immediate relative. You should make sure the child obtains a U.S. passport and U.S. certificate of citizenship. I would also strongly recommend you to contact a lawyer who can deal with this for you.
