I wanted to know as to what are my options if my child is born in US with respect to immigration. Can the parents apply for immigration as the child (two years of age) requires physical/financial support in US. If you need any further information for answering the query please let me know.

I think you cannot apply for immigration to the US before the child is 18 years of age. You should check up "Family Immigration" with a lawyer. I also must recommend you to get the US certificate of citizenship for the child and a US passport. Those documents will help the child later.

The best you can do is to get an immigration lawyer to deal with the applications for you. IT may cost you some cash, but it is for sure better than trying yourself.

If you goal is to get the green card or citizenship, I would recommend you to get a lawyer to help you out.
