I am looking for some answers to help a friend. She came to the states from overseas 3 years ago. She thought she was married to a Marine, but he had lied to her and is still married to his wife. He has beat her up several times and she wants to leave the relationship. What can she do to obtain a legal green card so that she can work a regular job w/o it being under the table?
