I am a Canadian citizen in the USA on an E2 Visa-Entrepreneur through business "A". I have a purchase agreement and initial transfer done for business "B". my questions are:-

1. can you confirm that I need to use form I-129 to get business "B" endorsed to my passport.

2. if I were to sell business "A" after I file I-129 but BEFORE it is approved can I remain in the USA without getting out of status? or would I have to go back to Canada?

any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
