> Death Of Petitioner
my dad died last 2006 he petitioned me 1992. the approval was last year 2007 this year I received a letter from the us-manila embassy informing me that my petition will be cancelled lest I file for appeal or something. I sought the help of an immigration lawyer informing me that its possible thru the "humanitarian process", unfortunately my mom is here in the Philippines if she was living in the states its possible that the embassy here might grant the humanitarian reason for me to migrate there and take care of mom.

anyone here have other alternative ways you heard or experienced to go about this humanitarian procedure? I really really need it because I have only this year to re-file my case.
