I'm a graduate student (F1 visa) study in US. My parents are applying B2 visa and planning to visit me during the coming X'mas vacation in US. We plan to take a cruise to Eastern Caribbean. I know we are able to go to Puerto Rico by US visa; however, I want to know if we can stop in some ports, such as Labadie, Hispaniola, Haiti, etc., which are not in Puerto Rico. I understand you may not be able to answer some immigration questions regarding other countries. However, I hope you can give me some information or some other resources that can answer questions like this. Thank you very much!

Mr. Wan, I just know a little bit about the visa process, I am no immigration lawyer - and I can only give you some personal advice. The thing you must look out for is if your parents needs visas to these other countries also. You should for sure check with the cruise company. They will for sure be able to answer you questions. Just make sure that when you leave and enter the U.S. again, you must have enough money to support your stay, you must have a place to stay, and you must have a return ticket. You do not want your vacation to get all messed up just because of some visa rules. Then it is better to only stay in the U.S. ENJOY your vacation! SAC
