> Any Suggestions Of How I Could Immigrate Legally?, I could do with some tips
Hi there - I would love to relocate from the UK to the States. I am not young enough to be considered as a student and I do not have a degree. I am a hard worker and have worked for 12 years in London and have good experience at what I do. I have A Levels and have many skills that could be brought over to the states - but not sure any of them are good enough to get me a job over there. I don't know. Does anyone know of any companies who recruit English staff or does anyone of particular jobs that are under staffed in the US.

if I can't find a way to come to your fantastic country I will probably end up in Australia like every other English person - but USA would be my first choice every time and I would do anything to get accepted there first.

I hope you can help.

You are totally right that it is more difficult to get a job in the U.S. The reason is simply due to the work visa application process. However, there are MANY different work visas you can apply for, even with no education. Look into the H-2B visa, Q visa, J visa, or check up work for a cruise boat. The key for you is to get legally into the country and start working. Once you are here on a visa, you have much more options.

What you don't want to do is to come here and work illegally. That will only get you into problems.

In any case, going Down Under is not bad choice either:)
